FREE Online Banking allows you to securely access your account information from anywhere you have an internet connection. Account and product information is available to you around the clock, around your schedule.

We have an online demonstration available to help you become familiar with the functions and features of Online Banking. In the demo you will learn about the security feature, known as multifactor authentication, or MFA. This feature helps to ensure that when accessing your account information, you are you – and your information is safe.

Online Banking enables you to retrieve your monthly checking account statement. Your account statement cuts off at a particular time each month, after this day you can access your statement. This feature is available within your account, under "Documentation". Twelve months of statements will remain available for your convenience.

For security purposes, if you do not access online banking for a period of 60 days, access will be denied and you will need to go through the enrollment process again.

 

Bill Payment

Bill Pay allows you to pay your monthly bills electronically. No more writing all those monthly checks, just set up your recurring payments and select when you want them to be paid. As long as you have the funds in your account, the payment will be sent!

Visit the Bill Pay demo located above. This will take you on a tour of the product and all the conveniences that using Bill Pay will bring to you. You can practically eliminate the use of stamps and envelopes!

Coin Link – Self-Service Coin Counting

Have you accumulated a lot of loose coins? We have a solution . . .

All you need to do is bring in your loose coins, and pour them into the Coin Link machine. A receipt will be produced, which you can exchange for cash or deposit into your account.

Coin Link is free to PVB customers, and is located at the Main Office in Luray.

 

Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit of your payroll or Social Security benefits can be made automatically into your checking or savings account. Save yourself some time, and avoid that extra trip to the bank to make a deposit.

For Social Security Direct Deposit, simply call 1-800-772(SSA)-1213, or stop by one of our offices and complete a Quick Start form, we will take care of the rest.

For payroll deposits, contact your employer, and they can direct deposit your pay into your PVB account.  You will need to provide your employer with our bank routing number (ABA #051402372) and your account number.

 

Gift Cards

VISA Stored Value Gift Cards make a great gift!

The benefits of the gift card are that it can be used anywhere that VISA is accepted rather than one particular store. Store branded cards are not replaceable, so if it is lost it is just like losing cash. However, lost VISA Gift Cards can be replaced and the value transferred to a new card. VISA Gift Cards cannot be used to obtain cash.

Consider a gift card when worrying over the perfect gift, gift cards fit perfectly everytime! You can also use it when traveling, rather than carrying cash.

 

Notary Services

Notary Services are available at no charge. It does help to call in advance to be certain an authorized notary is available.

 

Overdraft Prevention

Overdraft Prevention is an additional Checking Account product to help manage your account. Should you overdraw your account, Overdraft Prevention will automatically transfer funds from another checking or savings account as needed.

This service must be prearranged. Please contact us for details.

 

Safe Deposit Box Rentals

Safe Deposit Boxes provide a safe and secure place to store your valuables.

Safe Deposit Boxes are available to all PVB customers. Annual rental costs vary depending on the box size you select.

Stop Payments

If you do not want us to pay a particular check that you have written, you can place a stop payment order by calling us. We must receive your request within a reasonable time to act on it before our stop payment cutoff time. You must stop by to sign the Stop Payment Order within 14 days, or it will be released.

PhoneLink – Telephone Banking

PhoneLink is our 24-hour automated telephone system, which enables you to access your account information anytime you choose. Features include detailed account information, current interest rates, account transfers and fax options. PhoneLink access is available by calling your local PVB office or toll-free at 1-888-331-6521.

 

VISA Check Cards

The VISA Check Card provides access to the funds in your checking account at ATMs locally and around the world. It also can be used at any point-of-sale location that accepts VISA. Instead of working like a credit card, the funds are taken directly from your checking account. The VISA Check Card provides convenience at the check out counter and access to your funds 24 hours a day.

The maximum daily cash withdrawal for the PVB VISA Check Card is $300, and the maximum daily point-of-sale withdrawal total is $1,000.

Click Hours and Locations for PVB ATM locations. If you are traveling, free ATM services are available at all Sheetz convenience stores.

While PVB will not charge you for use of ATMs within our network, a fee is imposed for use of ATMs outside of the Bank’s network. Additionally, other banks may impose a service fee that will be included in the transaction amount.

Lost or Stolen Cards -

Call 743-6521 or Toll Free 1-888-331-6521

 Immediately report any lost or stolen cards to the Bank by calling (540)743-6521 or toll-free (888)331-6521. If making your call after business hours, please call the above number and select option "8". You will be prompted to leave a detailed message and a contact number. You will then be contacted by bank personnel in order to block your card and prevent losses.

Wire Transfers

 For PVB customers, we offer both domestic and foreign wire transfer services. To arrange for wire transfer services, contact a bank representative for details.
